About Ton Chongfa Waterfall
Ton Chongfa waterfall is an amazing multi-level waterfall in the Bang Niang area. It’s easily accessible by motorbike or car/taxi and definitely one you should add to your To Do list.
From the parking to the first level of the waterfall is about a kilometre walk. The jungle walk on a decent path is pretty nice and not difficult.
At the foot of the waterfall, and at some levels, you can have a refreshing swim. You will see some small fish swimming around and some may come to nibble your feet – get a free skin cleansing therapy in the wild! You may have seen the little fish in basins at some beauty salons, but at all the Khao Lak waterfalls you’ll have it for free! If you’ve never experienced this, try it out! It’s completely harmless and may tickle a little bit.
You can not see all the levels of Ton Chongfa waterfall in the images, but there are five levels. If you don’t mind hiking up on a narrow path, it is quite safe, you can visit all levels with different views. If you are a healthy person, it’s recommended to check them out. You can do the hike in slippers, but sandals or shoes are always more comfortable.
To maintain the area around Ton Chongfa waterfall, there’s usually an entrance fee of 200 THB (~6 euro), but it’s worth the experience!
