About Khao Lak Fresh Morning Market
The Khao Lak Fresh Morning Market is officially located in the Khuk Khak area, but many people call it the “Bang Niang Fresh Morning Market”. It’s a popular destination for both tourists and locals looking for fresh, locally sourced produce and a taste of traditional Thai culture.
The market is open daily from around 6:00 am to around 12:00 pm, but the best time to visit is in the early morning when the market is at its busiest and the products are fresh.
Visitors can expect to find a wide variety of fresh produce including tropical fruits, vegetables, herbs, and spices, as well as meats, poultry, and seafood. There are also stalls selling Thai snacks, street food, and beverages.
Next to the market, you will find several local shops to buy things like flowers, houseware, imported food, frozen fruits. There is also a barber shop, a laundry shop, and a Thai and dim-sum restaurant (little Chinese-style plates of dumplings and other snacks served in bamboo baskets).
Many of the “Thai cooking classes” take their customers here for a walk around the market, buy their ingredients, and learn more about Asian fruits and vegetables. If you are looking for Thai classes, book here .Many local businesses, such as restaurants and hotels, buy their goods here.
The market is known for its lively and bustling atmosphere, and it’s a great place to immerse yourself in local Thai culture.
